Dr. Alvaro Alonso

 Dr.
Alvaro Alonso is a Cardiology Fellow at the University of Massachusetts Hospital
in Worcester, MA. He is a recent graduate of the Universidad Panamericana School
of Medicine, in Mexico City. Since his years in high school, he has worked as a
volunteer with different non-profit organizations in Mexico. Among other
projects, Dr. Alonso has collaborated in an innovative telemedicine program and
a continuing medical education program for physicians living in underserved
areas. His areas of interest in medicine include medical education, bioethics,
cardiovascular disease and kidney disease. Dr. Alonso did his residency training
in Internal Medicine at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. |
